Cafés are increasingly used by university students as alternative learning spaces, where environmental comfort may support academic productivity. This study aims to analyze the effect of café environmental comfort on students’ academic productivity in Surabaya. A quantitative survey was conducted with 65 university students using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed through simple linear regression in SPSS. The results indicate that café environmental comfort has a positive and statistically significant effect on academic productivity, with a regression coefficient of 0.809, a standardized beta of 0.752, and a significance level of p < 0.001. The model explains 56.6% of the variance in academic productivity. These findings contribute to research on informal learning spaces by demonstrating the relevance of café environmental comfort to students’ academic productivity. Practically, the results may inform café managers seeking to create environments that better support academic activities.
