The agricultural, fisheries, trade, and manufacturing sectors make Lamongan Regency a relevant setting for examining Islamic entrepreneurship opportunities. This study aims to map these opportunities by connecting the regional economic structure, business-enabling conditions, and evidence of practices related to Sharia principles. It employs descriptive analysis of secondary statistics and an integrative literature review. The findings show that Lamongan’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) reached approximately IDR 56.11 trillion in 2025, with real growth of 5.40%, while agriculture, trade, and manufacturing accounted for 62.45% of the regional economy. The literature indicates that entrepreneurial marketing, financing, halal certification, skills, and leadership are associated with different dimensions of business performance. This study contributes an analytical framework that distinguishes productive capacity, business-enabling conditions, and business outcomes and sustainability. The framework helps identify economic opportunities while emphasizing that sectoral potential alone does not establish firm-level profitability, sustainability, or Sharia compliance.
