Generation Z members in student organizations need leadership that adapts guidance and support to members’ needs to facilitate organizational performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of situational leadership on Generation Z performance in student organizations at Universitas Airlangga. A quantitative survey was conducted with 61 active students selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that situational leadership has a positive and statistically significant association with member performance (β = 0.547; t = 4.759; p < 0.001), with a correlation coefficient of 0.527 and a coefficient of determination of 27.7%. These findings suggest that more favorable perceptions of situational leadership are associated with higher reported performance among student organization members. This study contributes to leadership research by extending the discussion of situational leadership to the context of student organizations and offers practical insights for student leaders in adapting guidance, support, and task delegation to members’ needs.
